About Us
Gold Star Nursery is a West Virginia, family-owned small business, based in Martinsburg. Our mission is to provide high quality, unique succulents and houseplants, grown right here in West Virginia! We are the first West Virginia Grown certified participant that focuses on succulents. We support other small businesses, both personally and through our operational needs, and believe in the power of community. Meet the team below!
Owner
Meghan Martin
Meghan is an 11-year financial professional with experience in retail, commercial, operations and FinTech. Meghan is responsible for the daily operations of Gold Star. When she's not working on Gold Star, she's tending to her own personal plants, spending time with her son, and volunteering in the local community.
Co-owner
Jason Martin
Jason is a Shepherd University business alumnus, and a construction safety sales professional. Jason is responsible for business production and sales, and works alongside Meghan for daily operations. Outside of Gold Star, Jason is an avid family-man and enjoys cycling and travelling.
