A native succulent of Mexico, the 'Painted Lady' is a beautiful, rosetted plant with pale bluish-green leaves, edged in red. These plants are less glaucous than many Echeverias, with less epicuticular wax. As with most Echeverias, these succulents enjoy well-draining soil. They should be watered thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry completely before the next watering. Use caution not to allow water to sit on the leaves or within the rosette, and remove dead leaves as the plant grows.
