Kalanchoe laetivirens 'Mother of Thousands' or 'Mother of Millions'

Kalanchoe laetivirens, commonly named 'Mother of Thousands' or 'Mother of Millions, is a succulent native to Madagascar. These plants grow upright stems with oblong green to bluish leaves. The leaves are rimmed with plantlets that disburse and grow new plants. This succulent is very hardy - they should be watered well then left until the soil is almost dry. They tolerate bright, indirect light. Be careful of direct light as the leaves can burn with higher intensity. Pot in well-draining soil in a terra cotta or clay pot. Mother of Millions flowers in early spring, showing greenish white to greenish yellow bell-shaped flowers.
